Facilities For The Disabled
If you have difficulty communicating in English, we would ask you to bring an English-speaking friend with you when visiting the practice. Alternatively, please speak to one of our receptionists, who will be able to book an interpreter to assist you during your visit with the doctor.
We can also offer an online communication tool to assist patients who are deaf. You can access this at signhealth.org.uk
Please tell us if you want someone to accompany you during an examination or if you need a private room to discuss any sensitive matters.

Please note that the Medical Centres are not open on Bank/Public Holidays. Should you need to see a doctor outside our opening hours, please ring the surgery and your phone call will be automatically transferred to the out-of-hours service.
If you require any advice and do not necessarily need to speak to a doctor, you can ring NHS 111 on 111.
In an emergency (eg severe chest pain, sudden disabling breathlessness, collapse, severe injury, etc) please telephone the emergency services on 999.

Out of Hours
Out of Hours GP care for our patients is provided by NHS 111. For urgent advice and treatment, please call NHS 111 by dialling 111. Calls to 111 are free from both landlines and mobiles. The duty doctor or nurse there will discuss the problem with you and may advise you over the phone, or will either ask you to attend the Mastercall out-of-hours centre or make other arrangements as appropriate.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
